July 7th 2007: Vinyls soon up for grabs!
Nun Music and Big Dipper are teaming up with WEs latest single That`s Why (You`re So Fine) available on 7" vinyl (B side, Roky Erikson "Cold Night For Alligators) due august. Extremely limited edition, preorder here.

June 22nd 2007: Single available, check out DVD teaser
WEs first single "That`s Why (You`re So Fine) is rotating on NRK P3 and Kanal 24. Available on all major digital platforms such as AOL, Itunes, MSN, Musicbrigade, Telenor/Djuice etc. WEs Myspace site reveals the first clips of upcoming DVD attached to the dbl digipack version CD expected as 2nd disc on upcoming album slated for october release world wide. VG reviews it here.

May 31st 2007: New single from WE

January 28th 2007: Jaqueline New Video, by:Larm, livedates
Jaqueline keep up their crusade on Norway, kicking off the new year with outing their second single from Reaping Machines "Medicine Man" along with a video now rolling on ZTV, NRK2 Svisj etc. Several gigs has been confirmed as well, together with 2 shows at this years by:Larm. December 20th 2006: WE and Jaqueline updates
Jaqueline`s Reaping Machines is rated among the best albums released in Norway in 2006. Aftenposten, VG and Dagbladet are all shouting about Jaqueline and reaping Machines.
WEs Smugglers Tour is still on. WE just finished 13 massive shows together with Motörhead in Germany. WE has confirmed the Jägermeister Rock Liga 2nd week of February 2007. WE starts recording the followup to Smugglers january 2nd in Hangaroundsounds, Oslo Norway. Releasedate is not settled, but sept/oct 2007 worldwide is a guess.

August 21st 2006: Reaping Machines is out NOW!
Jaquelines masterpiece Reaping Machines is now out in Norway, in stores all over the country. Their first single and video, Demon Seed is playlisted at NRK SvisjMetall, check it out at NRK2, or click the Demon to watch. Congrats to the band!

August 9th 2006: RM Reviews starting to arrive!
Østlendingen, regional newspaper from the hometown of the Jaq`s throws a fantastic 6/6 review on Reaping Machines as well as a feature on the band today. Oppland Arbeiderblad threw a 5/6 recently. Jaqueline just did an interview with Norways no.1 metal mag, Scream, tourdates to be revealed august 17th, the list goes on. Jaquelines homepage is up and running, check the video for Demon Seed and download the song in full quality for free.

July 14th 2006: Jaqueline pick of the week, video soon ready!
Jaquelines first single outtake, Demon Seed from upcoming album Reaping Machines has been chosen pick of the week at NRK/URØRT week 29, July 17th to 21st. Download the amazing Demon Seed for free! April 4th 2006: Jaqueline on Nun Music, monsteralbum in the making!
Jaqueline, a powertrio from the flatland areas of eastern Norway has signed an album deal with Nun Music. The deal was signed in a dirty hotelroom in the Mjøsa capital Hamar recently. The band  has been recording and now mixing the album (still to be titled / aka Reaping Machines) with Don Dons (WE) as co-producer in Hangaroundsounds. No releasedate is settled yet, but it will be released early september 2006. Read more about Jaqueline here.

March 15th: MonsterMagnet tour cancelled, new festivals confirmed
MonsterMagnet cancelled thier eurotour in march/april due to an OD that brought Mr Wyndorf down. WE has confirmed several new european festivals this summer.
The swedish release of Smugglers is postponed to aug/sept as WE is way to busy promoting Smugglers in Europe and USA. The release is postponed to make WE more available for promoting Smugglers in Sweden the coming fall. More news on this soon.

Feb 26th: WE and MonsterMagnet plus festivals
WE touringschedule increases rapidly as the band approach their long awaited G/A/S release of Smugglers. Checks WEs website and the german site for more info and touring updates.

Feb 22nd: Sky is the Limit on the charts
WE/Myerz`Sky is the Limit EP" entered the norwegian international singlechart at no. 10 and the norwegian national chart at no 4 today. Congrats! Tour kicks off march 9th, check events for details.

Feb 3rd 2006: First German shows confirmed

Jan 27th 2006: WE - GAS releasedates, GAS and U.S livedates
1st. single taken from WE no. 1 album, Smugglers, Cosmic Biker RNR is due in GAS March 3rd. Comes with 3 bonustracks!

Jan 19th 2006: Sweden
Nun Music has signed a license deal with Bpop Music and V2/Bonnier for the release of WE Smugglers in Sweden. Releasedate set to the 17th of May.

Jan 12th 2006: WE and Ralph Myerz split EP due feb 13th.
Nun Music releases WE and Ralph Myerz & the Jack Herren Band`s split EP entitled Sky is the Limit EP monday feb 13th in Norway only. Two tracks written by WE and Myerz together, and the 3rd and 4th track exclusive Myerz and WE tracks not released before. Available through Universal/Sonet in Norway.
The first single, the 8 man strong Sky is the Limit is currently on rotation on various radiostations. More info soon.

Dec 12th 2005: License deal signed for G/A/S.
Nun Music has signed a license deal in GAS with German label Rodeostar for WE`s Smugglers, with a tentative release April 21st 2006 in G/A/S. Warming up this release is an exclusive single featuring Cosmic Biker RNR together with unreleased tracks in G/A/S by WE. Out in early March!
Smugglers will also appear as dbl. 12" gatefold vinyl with a bonustrack (7 am) from the Smugglers sessions with Chris Goss. This beauty will be available in small numbers (import) through Nun Music/Universal in Norway Mid March 06.
WE is set to tour Europe, USA (SXSW) and Scandinavia in 2006. Check back here soon for updates.

WE contributes with Catch Electrique taken from Smugglers on the Classic Rock February 06 issue, that brings you a compilation CD of whats hot according to the UK mag. The December issue of Classic Rock gave Smugglers an 8/10 rave review.

Aug 23rd 2005: Fired Up!
WE contributes with Catch Electrique from Smugglers on the South African compilation Fired Up! out on ASP Records out in South Africa sept 23rd.
WE is together with bands like QOTSA, Franz Ferdinand, Green Day, Hot Hot Heat, Satanic Surfers, Kaiser Chiefs etc.
WE will also contribute on the norwegian soon to premiere movie Izzat with Carefree taken from 2002 release Dinosauric Futurobic (Black Balloon Records). Carefree will attend both on the soundtrack and in the movie.

Aug 12th 2005: Smugglers released in France
Nun Music has signed a license deal with french label Bad Reputation for WEs latest awardwinning album Smugglers. The album comes in an exclusice digipack and a 16 page booklet insert. WE will play two shows and do interviews in Paris 17, 18, and 19th of September. When visiting central Europe, we also plays Popkomm 2005 in Berlin sept. 16th. June 16th 2005: Smugglers to be rereleased in Denmark
Due to faults in printingmatters and chaos at the pressingplant in Denmark, Kick Music together with Nun Music chose yesterday to force back all copies on the danish marked and reschedule the release of Smugglers until late September in Denmark. However, WE will return this fall with a new single and video, and concerts in October, backing the release.
Releasedate and tourdates will be announced soon. Meanwhile read the magnificent DK reviews given by danish media the few weeks Smugglers were out below!

April 18th 2005: Nun Music releases Smugglers in Denmark
Smugglers will be out in Denmark April 27th distributed and promoted by Kick Music. Sassy Zazie, taken from Smugglers is first singel out, now rotating on amongst danish P3. WE will do a liveshow at Stengade, Copenhagen May 7th.

March 1st 2005: Grammy for best rockalbum, new video, danish release!
Norways most prestigous and classic musicaward, Spellemann, rightfully awarded WE and their recent album Smugglers as best rockalbum in Norway 2004. WE accepted the award and presented their latest singel, Cosmic Biker RNR to a packed Oslo Spektrum and 500.000 viewers.
Cosmic Biker RNR is now airing at NRK Svisj and on heavy rotation on ZTV in Norway.
Nun Music releases Smugglers via Kick Music, in Denmark april 18th. WE will play Copenhagen and Stengade 30 may 7th, hopefully followed up by more festivals in Denmark and a fall tour later on.
First single out in Denmark is Sassy Zazie, check it out at WE`s homepage.


Feb 7th 2005: WE grabbed both Alarm Awards!
Alarm Awards was a huge success for WE. Being nominated in two categories; best album and best liveact, WE smashed all oponents and took home both statuettes.
2004 has defenitely payed off in Norway for WE, now they are ready for a 4 date tour in India, starting feb 15th in New Dehli. Check live schedule here.

Feb 5th 2005: Nun Music signs with Kick Music
Nun Music has signed a distribution deal in Denmark with Kick Music.
Smugglers will have an april release, followed by some livedates in May.
First radiosingel out will be Sassy Zazie taken from Smugglers.

Jan 10th 2005: Smugglers receives piles of nominations
WEs recent album Smugglers has been nominated as follows:
Alarm Awards; best album 2004, best liveact 2004. You can vote here, as Alarm Awards base their verdict mainly on your choice.
Natt og Dag, Norways biggest free monthly magazine has nominated Smugglers as album of the year, and the second video taken from it, Sassy Zazie for best video.
Spellemann (Norway biggest and oldest Grammy) has nominated WE for best album.
At the moment, Nun Music is in serious talks with various recordlabels all over the world for international release of Smugglers.

Dec 23rd 2004: Smugglers best norwegian album in 2004
50 journalists in Norway has decided on the best albums released in 2004. This list was published in norwegian paper Dagsavisen, and Smugglers got the 3rd place, best norwegian album on this international list.

Dec 9th 2004: WE nominated twice at Alarm Awards
Alarm awards (norwegian independent grammy) has nominated WE for best album in 2004 (Smugglers) and best liveact 2004. Nominationparty was held in Oslo yesterday. You can help WE win their catogories simple by voting on WE. Go here.
